Pamela Jean Tinnen

 Pamela Jean Tinnen is Lead Curator of Kimmel Windows, a unique cultural destination at the heart of New York University providing space for exemplary public exhibits. Tinnen has curated and organized exhibitions extensively across departments at NYU since 2011. Her tenure has resulted in a program consisting of thoughtful, engaging exhibitions that represent New York University’s wide range of scholarly discourse.

In addition to her role at NYU, Tinnen is Gallery Director for YSP Gallery, representing world renowned ceramic artist Young Sook Park.

Ms. Tinnen holds an MA in Museum Studies from New York University, and a BA in Literary Criticism from the University of South Florida. Her artistic, academic and curatorial interests engage photography, semiotics, dark tourism and tourism for human remains, hotel-theory, aesthetics and visual culture.
